About PaintWorks

PaintWorks is owned and operated by Wes Hamilton, a proud Victorian since 1997 and an Oak Bay High graduate. Wes started painting at just 17 as a summer job, quickly discovering a natural talent for the trade. After five years honing his skills, he launched PaintWorks in 2003 — originally as a one-man operation. Wanting to keep the business truly family-run, Wes later brought his wife Michelle into the company, and she now helps manage the day-to-day operations that keep PaintWorks running smoothly.

Growing up around a family business taught Wes the value of doing things right, treating clients fairly, and taking pride in every job. More than two decades later, those same values guide PaintWorks today. Wes is especially passionate about the transformation that comes with repainting — turning tired spaces into refreshed, welcoming ones clients can feel proud of.

Outside of work, Wes has spent the last five years coaching youth baseball with both Beacon Hill Baseball and Carnarvon Baseball, and he looks forward to continuing to invest in the next generation. He’s equally committed to supporting other local businesses and keeping PaintWorks a true part of the community. And when he’s not on the job site or the ball field, Wes enjoys spending time with his loving family and creating new memories — the moments that keep him grounded and inspired in both life and business.
